Hey there, I’m Ashley! I’m the friendly face behind Ashley Groomed Me. I’m your local AKC Safe Certified and Canine Esthetician Certified groomer. I’ve always had an enormous love for dogs and all kinds of animals, and I knew from a young age that I wanted to spend my life working with dogs.
My journey in the grooming industry started as a bather in 2012. I was determined to learn and grow, so I enrolled in BOCES in 2014. After months of rigorous training and studying, I earned my certification as a veterinarian assistant and pet groomer. I then worked as a grooming assistant, and with dedication and experience, I was promoted to a full-time groomer in 2018.
My time as a groomer at a veterinarian clinic provided me with valuable insights into the medical aspect of dog grooming. I further reinforced my commitment to prioritize the safety and well-being of every dog in my care by obtaining certifications in safety and canine aesthetics. I find joy in working with a variety of dogs, each with their unique personality. I’m constantly exploring different grooming styles and learning how to provide the best possible experience for each dog. My goal is to ensure your pet is comfortable and has a pleasant grooming experience and to see your dog’s tail wagging with happiness.
Whenever I’m not grooming, you can find me loading up the car and the dogs, heading to the mountains, and enjoying the beauty of nature. I also love nothing more than settling down on my couch with my dogs to watch a great show or movie. At times, life can be overwhelming, so finding solace in nature or cozying up with my dogs brings me much-needed peace and joy.
